Privacy policy
In force from 21 August 2026.
This policy explains what personal data AquaTrack handles, why, and who else sees it. It covers both the data about you as a user and the data your yard enters about its own customers.
Who is responsible
For data about you as an AquaTrack user, the controller is Volodymyr Petrunin, Prästgårdsvägen 50, 439 31 Onsala, Sweden. Contact: hello@aqua-track.work.
For the data your yard enters about its own customers and their boats, your yard is the controller and we act as your processor. That relationship is set out in the data processing agreement.
What we handle
As a user of AquaTrack, we handle:
- Your name and email address. The address is also your username.
- Your organisation: its name, organisation number and address. The address is what lets the product show the weather for your town.
- What you do in the product, where the product records it: hours you log, work you move, and an activity log of who changed what.
- Technical records the server keeps in order to stay secure, such as the address a refused sign-in came from.
Why we are allowed to
To provide the service you signed up for, which is a contract between us.
To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse, which is our legitimate interest.
To meet obligations Swedish law places on us, such as bookkeeping rules for anything invoiced.
Who else sees it
A small number of suppliers help us run AquaTrack. They may handle personal data on our behalf, and only on our instructions:
- Contabo GmbH, Germany. Hosting: the servers the product and its databases run on.
- Cloudflare, Inc. The connection between your browser and our server passes through Cloudflare, which sees that traffic and the address it comes from.
- Sinch Mailjet, EU. Sending email: invitations, password resets, and address confirmations. Mailjet sees the recipient address and the message.
- Open-Meteo. The weather block sends the name of your yard town to look up a forecast. No personal data is sent and no individual can be identified from it.
No tracking
There is no analytics on this website and no third party scripts. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not profile visitors. That is why you were not asked to accept cookies.
The product itself stores what it needs to keep you signed in and to remember which language you chose. Nothing there follows you anywhere else.
Where the data is
Your data is stored in the EU. Some of the suppliers above are companies with operations outside it. Where a transfer outside the EU can happen, it is covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Your account and your yard data are kept while your account exists. Ask us to delete your yard and we delete it.
Two things outlive that: records the law requires us to keep, such as accounting records, and the activity log, which is deliberately append only so that it cannot be quietly rewritten.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@aqua-track.work and we will answer.
Please describe what the matter is rather than putting personal data in the message. That address forwards into an ordinary email inbox, so tell us what you need and we will come back to you by a route that suits it.
If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
